I was born and raised in Lafayette, GA. I love my hometown and community! I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!
I went through school in the Walker County School system. I graduate from Lafayette High School in 1997. I continued my education at Dalton State College, Cumberland University, and finished at Covenant College. I cheered at Cumberland University for two years and won a National Championship. I completed my teaching degree through Covenant College. I was a special education paraprofessional at Lafayette High School for 12 years before finishing my degree in elementary education. I have been teaching at North Lafayette Elementary School for 10 years in first and second grades. I have been coaching cheerleading at Lafayette High School for 22 years.
I am married to my husband Shane, 21 years strong! We have two children. JuliAnna is 21 years old and is a nursing student at Dalton State College. Jackson is 14 years old and is in 8th grade at Lafayette Middle School. We are very active in our church where my husband is the pastor at Rock Spring Baptist.
I enjoy being with my family, being outdoors, and being around my animals! I have 5 dogs and a pot belly pig. I love the beach and the sunshine! I love to go shopping and spend time with my friends. I am a very busy person, and I wouldn’t know what to do without something to do!
Other than cheerleading and taking dance/ballet as a child, I don’t have any dance experience! I love to dance and have a good time, so I am super excited about this experience!
I’m participating in this experience because I love new challenges and adventures and of course to meet new people and have fun! I hope to be able to raise money for Primary Healthcare Centers! So, vote for me and lets make a difference!
